Young at Heart 60+

The Young at Heart 60+ group (formerly CLC) is for those who are 60 years of age and older. Monthly activities are planned for the purpose of fellowship and fun. Please mark your calendar and join us for these upcoming events. To sign-up, please contact the church Receptionist (616.662.2100) at least one week prior to the event you would like to attend, unless noted.

2012 Events

January 9 - IMAX Theater

Join us to see Born to be Wild, about African wildlife. We will be leaving the Fair Haven Campus at 9:00am and then going out to lunch after the movie.

February 21: Movie Day

Join us in The Rock at Fair Haven Church (door L) on Tuesday, February 21 at 2:00pm to watch the movie, Amish Grace. Come, sit back, and enjoy the movie and friendship. Popcorn will be served.

March 12: Bowling at Hudsonville Lanes

We will meet at Hudsonville Lanes at 10:30am, cost is $5 for two games and includes shoes. We will have lunch at Vitales after bowling (they have a great $6 dollar lunch menu).

April 24: Fair Oaks Farm & Shrine of Christ

Come take a tour of a sustainable dairy farm and then enjoy lunch at the farm which will include home-made ice cream. Then take a journey through the Passion of Christ along a half-mile trail in St. John, Indiana. $62 per person includes bus transportation, admission and lunch.

May 23: Whitecaps Baseball

We will leave Fair Haven Church at 4:30pm to have dinner at the Dungeon in Grandville and then attend the game which begins at 6:35pm.

June: Boatride on the Holland “Princess”

July: Picnic Pops

August: Dune Rides or Lake House Cottage

September: Saturday Game Night

October: Cranes Apple Orchard

November 10: Chicago

Come and spend a day shopping on the exclusive “Magnificent Mile”! It is $28 per person which is transportation only.

December 14: Blue Gate Theater

A $69 per person event which includes bus transportation, dinner and theater tickets to a two-part program.
