Our Purpose
His Image Ministry (H.I.M.) supports individuals and families affected with disabilities in helping to meet their spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs.
Fun Sunday–People with special needs are paired with volunteers who meet one Sunday per month in The Rock from 2:00-4:00pm for fun, fellowship, and snacks. Fun Sunday dates for 2010-2011: September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19, January 16, February 20, March 20, April 17.
Sunday Morning Respite–A ministry that provides supervision during the 10:45am Worship Celebration to individuals with special needs who are unable to participate in existing morning ministries.
His Image Seekers–Opportunity is provided for people with developmental disabilities to express their faith and enjoy the privileges of full membershipin the Body of Christ. Friends are paired with Guides for this six-week class that presents the message of salvation; this coincides with the traditional Young Seeker program and is offered yearly based on need.
