His Image Ministry (H.I.M.) supports individuals and families affected with disabilities in helping to meet their spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs.

Our Ministries

Fun Sunday – People with special needs (friends) are paired with volunteers (hosts) then meet as a group one Sunday per month, 2:00-4:00pm, in The Rock at Fair Haven Ministries (door L) for fun, fellowship, activities, crafts, games, and snacks. All hosts are interviewed and have background checks.

2012 Fun Sunday Events are:

February 19: Valentine's, Dessert Party

March 18: Character Day... dress up!

April 15: Prom!

May 6: Celebration Dinner in the Family Life Center immediately following the 10:45 Worship Celebration

Caregiver's Support Group - This group meets at the same time as Fun Sunday at Fair Haven Ministries, room 306/308, to support and encourage one another. Guest speakers are frequently invited to share in their areas of expertise and to answer questions caregivers may have.

His Image Worship - A special Worship Celebration for friends that meets one Sunday per month for fellowship, praise, learning, and fun, room 306/308 [note room change], 10:45am - 12:15pm.

Ladies Group - A group of post high school ladies meet for socialization and special outings throughout the year. One Sunday per month the ladies group meets at Fair Haven Ministries, in room 306/308 [note room change], 10:45am - 12:15pm.

Glue - This ministry connects with friends and their families to determine how Fair Haven can continue to meet their needs. As a result, volunteer opportunities and connections for friends to interact further within the community have been discovered and developed.

Sunday Morning Respite – A ministry that provides supervision during Worship Celebrations to individuals with special needs who are unable to participate in existing morning ministries.
