Fueling a Passion for God

Hands of Christ

Cooking Ministry - The Cooking Ministry makes about 65 meals a month. The meals are cooked then frozen, waiting to be delivered to Fair Haven family members in times of sickness, stress, new arrivals or need.

Cooking volunteers (both men and women) meet once a month in the Fair Haven Kitchen to cook, fellowship, and create tasty meals. The Cooking Ministry Committee takes care of recipes, ingredients, and organization. Once a month cooking events are usually held on Tuesdays.

Living Links Ministry - College students sense that they are still an important part of the Fair Haven Family when Living Links volunteers (individuals, families or LifeGroups) provide care packages several times throughout the school year.

Transportation Ministry - The Transportation Ministry gives rides to school, the doctor, church, the store, job interviews, the hospital, and more! Transportation is available to those who are not able to drive due to age, health, or life circumstances.

Handy Man/Woman Ministry - This ministry is available to Fair Haven members and friends who may need just a little more help around their house than they can accomplish themselves or afford to hire out. Raking leaves, grocery shopping for a shut-in, mowing the lawn, caring for a garden, snow shoveling, cleaning a house, doing a load of laundry, fixing a car, plumbing, furnance and electrical repair are just some of the services that are available.

For more information or to find out about volunteer opportunities with any of the the Hands of Christ Ministries, please contact the Care Team at Fair Haven Ministries. In addition, if one of our ministries fits a need you are currently having, please give the Care Team a call at 662-2100 and we will do our best to find a volunteer to match your needs.
